It is with great sadness that I am writing to you to inform you that my dad, John Hill of Oadby, passed away on the evening of 21st June. He was an active member of the Oadby band and the Harborough DIstrict for some years after moving here in 1998. Unfortunately he was unable to come back to ringing after Covid and had become increasingly frail in the past few years.

Following a short service at the crematorium for family and close friends, there will be a service of Thanksgiving for the life of John Hill at St Peters church, Oadby on Friday 11th July at 3pm.
