Dedication of Handbells

On 29th June, as part of the Sunday Service at St Michaels Stoney Stanton, a set of handbells which were gifted to the Guild by the family of Alf Ballard – a prolific peal ringer and one of the Founding Members of the Guild, are being Dedicated, after being restored.

The handbells are now housed in St Michaels Stoney  Stanton, and were restored through the gifts of Sally Brown (to mark her time as President of the Guild), and by Elizabeth Vernon in memory of her late husband John Vernon, for many years Tower Captain at St Michael’s, and a very active Guild member

The Service will take place at 10.00am, with open ringing on the Tower bells from 9.30, and light refreshments will be provided afterwards.

Any and all Guild Member will be welcome to attend, and we’d love to see you
